It is 1123, we end up in the middle of the Middle Ages and things are not going softly. Elsinore Castle, the fortress of the cruel robber knight Claudius, is surrounded by four different rival armies. The commanders (knights) have given orders to enter the castle through tunnels. When the first tunnels are dug, they send infantrymen to the castle as scouts. Once there, the scouts plunder the castle. They bring the gold pieces they steal to safety in the encampment on the other side of the castle. If they encounter a scout from a rival army along the way, it will also be robbed. But those who pay attention can find their way through the scouts to the safe encampment. The sack of Elsinore Castle ends when the first scout reaches D encampment. The player whose scout has secured the most gold pieces is the winner of the game. A playing field has been set up on the back of the board for two players. Here they can conquer the mountaintop Elsinore Castle II. |
